The Milwaukee 18-Volt Cordless Li-Ion 6-7/8-Inch Metal Cutting Saw comes with a convenient storage case and features a long-running Li-Ion rechargeable battery. 18-volt Li-Ion equipped Milwaukee tools provide up to 50-percent longer run times than 18-volt Ni-Cad equipped tools while at the same time offering "fade-free" power until the battery is completely drained. The saw features a 6-7/8-inch blade diameter and can cut 2-inch black metal pipe with a single pass. A scratch-resistant nickel-plated all-steel shoe is also included, as is a clear guard window for enhanced line of sight. The blade operates at 3,200 RPMs for fast, clean cuts, and a 36-tooth blade comes packaged with the saw for smooth, burr-free cutting. This tool will run using Milwaukee's Ni-Cad or Li-Ion batteries for added convenience. The saw comes backed with a manufacture's limited 5-year warranty.

The V18 Metal Saw with its Lithium-Ion battery makes 85 cross-cuts of 1 in. electrical metal conduit per charge. Its 6-7/8 in. blade easily cuts 2 in. black pipe in a single pass. Typically used for cutting materials such as uni-strut, conduit, galvanized pipe, black pipe, copper pipe, angle iron, metal studs, as well as Hardi-Plank and Durock materials. Electric Brake provides quick blade stops for repetitive cutting. The Universal Li-ion/NiCd Charger will charge any 18V to 28V Milwaukee Battery in one hour or less. Tool is backwards compatible with existing Milwaukee NiCd 18V batteries.
